About NexusBioTox
NexusBioTox is a Brazilian biotech deeptech born from the integration of advanced academic science and industrial application, with the goal of transforming how the safety of new products is evaluated.
Our focus is to solve one of the biggest bottlenecks in global innovation: toxicological validation. Traditional methods are expensive, slow, and highly dependent on mammalian models, which limits the speed of technological development and increases regulatory risks.
To overcome this challenge, we have developed a platform based on highly conserved alternative biological models, such as Drosophila melanogaster and Danio rerio, combined with molecular biomarker analysis and experimental strategies aimed at the regulatory context.
This approach enables the generation of robust toxicological data, with greater speed, lower cost, and a significant reduction in the use of mammals, aligning with the international 3Rs guidelines and the requirements of agencies such as ANVISA, IBAMA, and OECD.
